The Pinoy Biggest Loser Grand Winner

The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition – the show that centered into overweight contestants competing to become the Philippines’ Biggest Loser has been decided and the winner is Larry Sienno Galvan Martin.

The winner of The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Larry Sienno Galvan Martin takes home the grand prize of P 1,000,000.00, a brand new condominium from DMCI HOMES and a Vespa Scooter.

The biggest announcement of the night was when ABS-CBN CEO Gabby Lopez appeared and said that the 2nd-5th placers will receive P500,000 each.

The five finalists to ‘Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition:’ were Angela Lupango, Art Lim Mendoza, Charlene Hazel Yap Chua, Larry Sienno Galvan Martin and Enrique Rafael Zayco Tan.

Ellona Santiago – Pinay in X-Factor

Ellona Santiago is a 14 year old Filipina who passed the second eliminations of the US Season of the talent search X-Factor.

Ellona passed the Bootcamp round wherein she was chosen to be one of the solo singers to create a group that will be part of the eight group acts to be mentored by judge Paula Abdul.

A total of 32 contestants divided into four groups will be joining a specific judge into their homes wherein they will compete against each other to be able to move on to the final round.

Ellona volunteered her services along with 40-other California based performers in a benefit concert two years ago for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. She was 12 years old at that time. Here is official Facebook fan page of Ellona.

Famous Singer and Actress Lea Salonga

Lea Salonga is one of the Famous Filipinos that have starred in International Theaters. Named as Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga,she was born in Manila Philippines. Lea began her singing career at the age of ten, when she recorded her first album, Small Voice. She starred in “Miss Saigon” and was then offered the role of the singing voice of Jasmine in the Disney film Aladdin in 1992.
