Philippines Get Ready for Wonder Girls’2 Different Tears

Filipino Wonder Girls fans are ready to spread the wonder with a launching event for 2 Different Tears. Earlier, we reported about the launching of 2 Different Tears in China on August 9th, but Chinese fans are not the only ones getting their hands on Wonder Girls latest mini-album. Universal Music Philippines, better known as MCA Music, together with Wonder Girls’ Philippine fan base, WonderFulPh, and music channel MYX, will be celebrating a launching event for the Philippine version of the album on August 7th from 10:00AM onwards at Astroplus at SM North Edsa The Block and Odyssey at SM Megamall.

Though Wonder Girls will not be attending these events, Filipino fans who participate will not only be able to buy the album before the official release on August 9th, but they’ll get tons of freebies and will be able to take part in contests and even send a video message to the Wonder Girls. Wonder Girls’ Nobody became one of the most popular Kpop songs in the Philippines  and some say it might have been the biggest helper for the current Kpop craze in the country. MCA Music and Wonder Girls fans hope for the first official release of a Wonder Girls album in the Philippines to be a huge success. (kpoplive)

2010 Ozine Fest Girls

Ozine Fest is an annual event organized by the Otakuzine Anime Magazine staff to gather Anime Fans around the The Philippines. The first Ozine Fest was held at the Robinsons Galleria Trade Hall December 16, 2005 with a total ticket sales of 3,752. Its is held every year in the Philippines, which is highly-anticipated by anime fans and artist alike. It offers lots of surprises and contests such as Anime Video making,Indie Manga Making,Battle of the Band,Photoshoot Contest,Anime Dance Contest,Anime Karaoke Contest,Cosplayer Poster making, Console Game Demos,Food Eating Contest, and a Matsuri Area. Philippine International Motor Show Models

The 2nd Philippine International Motor Show took place at Philippine World Trade Center. Fifteen global auto brands participated in PIMS show. Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Suzuki, Toyota, Volvo. Here is collection of most beautiful Philippine models who represented their brand companies.

Karla Paula Henry Miss Earth 2008

Born in May 23, 1986 Karla Paula Henry is Filipino Canadian beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Earth 2008 in her home country, the headquarters of Miss Earth organization becoming the first Philippine representative and the first in the Asian region to be crowned as Miss Earth. Henry was raised by her grandparents until the age of four when her family went to reside in Tsawwassen, Canada until she was 14. Even then, she would visit the Philippines every summer and Christmas. Upon her family’s return to the Philippines, they first lived in Albay, Bicol  for a year before residing permanently in Cebu.

Kim de Guzman – Miss Bikini Philippines 2009

Kim de Guzman, 18, from Olongapo City, has won the title of Miss Bikini Philippines World 2009 during the grand coronation night held on May 03, 2009 at the PICC Plenary Hall. She also took home the honors for Ms. Great Skin and Best in Long Gown.

The 2009 Miss Bikini Philippines International title was given to Kimberly Ann Brandon, 21-years-old from Makati City and the tallest from the group. Kimberly was also bestowed with the Best in National Costume award. She was also a grand finalist in the Miss Fitrum 2008 pageant.
